Where is smurf village located

There's a location for all niche tastes these days. Airbnbs for Harry Potter fanatics , whole damn villages for prosecco drinkers and literal friggin' Malibu Dreamhouses for Barbie fans. But we couldn't help but feel that Smurf fans had been left a little underrepresented - until now that is. Lovers of the comic franchise based on the funny blue creatures needn't be left out as there is in fact a whole village in Spain dedicated to the Smurfs.

And the most shocking part is that it's been sitting there for almost a decade and we didn't have a clue about it! Juzcar, near Malaga, was first decorated as a publicity stunt for The Smurfs movie way back in , with higgledy piggledy houses painted bright blue and Smurf statues erected.
