That helps me a lot more. I was wondering why she was there. I was gonna ask the same question a while ago, but I forgot. I have two things to say: Firstly, it means that Blizzard knew that it was going to make an expansion pack the whole time. Well, other than the obvious fact that they left the story open. Secondly, its an easy plot to make a novel out of. It has an easy way for the author to tie into DII; the assassins are a very interesting story that have not been covered yet; and she says that she is just waiting around town to be given orders, and then she disappears - the author can easily create whatever quest she was given.
It would be a great story. Quote from "Jetrall" ». She dissappears only after Mephisto and his strangle hold over the priests of the Zakarum is gone, while Assassins hunt down mages, that wouldn't change the fact that this huge evil entity is able to corrupt so many, including mages, such as Ormus, or possibly Deckard Cain while he is in Kurast, once you put a stop to that, there is little to no risk of mages in the area betraying their fellow mages, thus Natalya feels her task is complete and leaves, But I already mentioned that.
I wouldn't exactly say the fact she was there hinted in anyway at the Assassin being a playble class in an expansion, if anyone was thinking of mentioning that. Sure that is infact what happened, but at the time there was no way to know. I agree with Elfen completely. Nothing much more to say hehe. What's new New posts New media New media comments.

By the time the group defeated Mephisto , she had left the area to head north into the Barbarian lands. A few years before the End of Days , Natalya left the Viz-Jaq'taar, instead taking up the cause of the Demon Hunters, [2] seeking redemption.
Despite a shared class, she has no unique dialogue for an Assassin character. She disappears from the area after Mephisto is slain. According to her dialogue for when The Guardian is completed which the player never hears due to her disappearing , she received new orders to head to the northern lands of the Barbarians, but wouldn't say why.
The item set, Natalya's Odium , is named after her. The items' description provide vague hints at her activities post-Diablo II.
